Guyanese-born Juke Ross’s music is a direct extension of his spirit. His soft, intriguing voice and dreamy indie folk melodies are tailor-made for humid, beach-side atmospheres. As the youngest of a family of fourteen, he initially wanted to follow in his mother’s footsteps to study nursing. Once he got hold of a guitar, however, Ross felt the urge to write music himself. And it didn’t stop there: ‘Color Me’ quickly skyrocketed across online platforms, and ’Fresh Roses’ quickly followed suit. Fans of Angus & Julia Stone and Vance Joy better not miss this prodigious talent.
