Big Ups

A Big Ups show goes something like this: they come out on stage, create an arena of disarray and frenzy and afterwards, you’re left behind with one question: what in the world just happened? Exactly the type of band to witness up close at Best Kept Secret. These agents of chaos always come up with interesting themes: Eighteen Hours of Static (2014) was about belief versus science and Before A Million Universes (2016) about the individual versus society. Forthcoming LP Two Parts Together, meanwhile, is a record about human rituals. Big Ups play their proto-punk/slowcore/post-hardcore abomination with utmost ferocity, and their biting guitars and crashing cymbals will leave your ears whizzing.
