Drahla

Drahla in a nutshell: heavy slabs of bass, piercing guitar eruptions and the unorthodox vocal delivery of Luciel Brown. We think it is more than right that this Yorkshire bunch is considered one of the most uncompromising new English bands. They make gritty post-punk that evokes the image of a grainy black-and-white photograph. Having only released two singles and an EP, Drahla were quickly embraced by alternative music media. They shared the stage with bands like Parquet Courts, Buzzcocks and Metz and Ought will soon join them. When Drahla rock the Casbah, you’ll witness their sensational live energy first hand.
