Let’s Eat Grandma

Imagine if the twins from The Shining decided to make experimental pop; indeed, Let’s Eat Grandma sound cute at first, but when you listen more closely, there’s something rather spooky and unsettling afoot. Best friends Rosa Walton and Jenny Hollingworth met at the age of four and have been inextricably linked to each other ever since. Instead of going to school, the two young multi-instrumentalists spend their days writing dark cobwebbed songs about chocolate cake, dead cats and Donnie Darko. For those who like a bit of smoke and mirrors and mystery in their lives, Let’s Eat Grandma’s labyrinthine pop is where it’s at.
