Collective Care

Introducing Collective Care

Best Kept Secret is a place for discovery, connection and freedom — a festival where you can truly be yourself, no matter who you are, what you look like, who you love, or what you believe in. Social safety isn’t an extra — it’s essential.

That’s why we’re proud to introduce our Collective Care teams.

What is Collective Care?

Collective Care is a new initiative to help ensure a safe, inclusive, and respectful atmosphere throughout the festival. The teams are an addition to our existing safety teams.

On Friday and Saturday from 21:00 to 04:00, and on Sunday from 21:00 to 01:00, our specially trained Collective Care teams will be present around the festival grounds. You’ll find them in busier areas and near stages — look for the yellow shirts.

They’re here to listen, support, and observe. Whether you’ve experienced something upsetting, feel unsafe, or just want to talk — our team is here for you.

Collective Care is here to support — not to replace the responsibility we all share in caring for one another.

You can come to us if

● You’ve experienced something uncomfortable or harmful (harassment, discrimination, boundary crossing)

● You’re worried about someone else

● You’re feeling overwhelmed, unsafe, or out of place

● You need a calm space or someone to talk to

● Or you just need a moment — that’s okay too

How we work

Our team is trained in social safety, mental support, and (festival) care. They’ll listen without judgment, offer help where needed, or guide you toward further support — only if you want that.

We work closely with security and medical staff, but we are part of the crowd, not policing it.

We believe in community care. Because a safe night is something we create — together.
