Jop Vissers Vorstenbosch

Jop Vissers Vorstenbosch (1986) has a preference for fringe phenomena of daily urban life, constantly looking for new forms of painting. “With my work I explore how I can link everyday ingredients, like highways and tube lights, to painting and to the way we look at and experience paintings (…) Instead of trying to passively analyze my observations and experiences, I challenge them with brushes, paint, screws and wood in order to visualize them.” We can’t wait to show you Vorstenbosch’s work at Best Kept Secret and let it collapse with music, so that a state of the unknown emerges.
