Kaat Van Stralen

Belgian artist Kaat van Stralen self-coined her music as ‘hyperkinetisch taalkabaal’. To spin this in English, this roughly translates to ‘wordy rackethood’. With her band, Kaat presents a frenetically fun Katamari-level recital where song and satire become potent vehicles to shatter social taboos and celebrate individuality. Kaat’s shows are a confetti whirlwind of wits, entertainment and the occasional intervention.
