The coolest bands are often of the no-frills variety and accordingly, Marathon's angular, adrenaline-pumping alt-punk doesn't need crazy stage hijinks to get the mosh pit moving. The name already strikes the right chord: sometimes you need to run before you can walk, rage out with abandon and let the chips fall where they may.
