Monty DJ is a hard-to-pin-down musical mind, continuously shape-shifting and transforming his musical vision. While releasing more playful electronic musics via his label Flippen Disks, his DJ-Sets can move between sounds from all over the place, shifting between Synthwave, digi-dub, fractured electronics, oddball pop, various shades of house and techno but also newer contemporary sounds, just to name a few.
As part of the team behind online radio station RRFM and Amsterdam night club Radio Radio, as much as the producer for the more art-focused online radio Ja Ja Ja Nee Nee Nee, Monty is involved deeply in various fields of cultural making, which shows.
