25 Years Of Eskimo Recordings (Nadiem Shah)
Nadiem Shah playing an infectious selection of the influential label from Ghent

Saturday 13 → 19.30 - 20.30
The promised landers have their DFA label. The low landers have Eskimo Recordings.
This highly influential label from Belgium is as much known for its artists (Aeroplane, Prins Thomas, Aili) as it is for its compilations. It all started with the eclectic parties that took place during the late nineties in the Eskimo Fabriek in Ghent. These underground parties got famous for mixing new wave, acid, funk and rock ‘n’ roll, introducing local DJs such as The Glimmers and The Flying Dewaele Brothers. At The Floor label manager Nadiem Shah will takes us through 25 years of leftfield clubbing. Cooler than being cool. Eskimo!
