Under her rapper alter ego Elmer, Dutch artist & producer Merel Pauw is a bona fide interloper, causing shockwaves within the discourse of theatre, hip-hop and pop.

On debut album ‘platland’, Elmer forges a vital and off-beat mix of rap, techno and cabaret: a musical journey swerving between playful agitation and deep reflection.
