Girls to the Front (DJ Set)
  • Sunday 14  →  16.30 - 17.30

Bibi Fay Bannink, an 18 year old feminist punk fan with a plan, started Girls To The Front to represent the FLINTA community.

Taking inspiration from the Riot Grrrl movement this grew out to a compilation of FLINTA-fronted punk bands, an extensive club tour plus interdisciplinary events with poetry, film talks and panels. This DJ-set will show the depths of FLINTA* punk. From the Dutch underground scene to Pakistani-American wave to Javanese electro Bibi will celebrate identities through punk as a lifestyle.
