What began as a solo project by artist/poet Kaat Van Stralen evolved into a four-piece, genre-defying punk band.

Kaat summons a variety of genres to the principal's office: punk, psychedelia, alternative spoken word... social commentary expressed through a heated verbal barrage, crackling beats, biting guitar riffs, and bombastic bass lines.

So what's Kaat's secret? 
Having fun with language, while also communicating serious subjects through sharp-tongued vocals and energetic performance. There's always a new twist around the corner when Kaat and her band perform.
