Katayoun

Collector, radio host & DJ of Iranian music

Katayoun
  • Saturday 13  →  13.30 - 14.30

Katayoun Arian is a DJ, selector and archivist working across sounds from Iran and the wider region.

Drawing on everything from pre-revolution grooves and pop to trance-inducing ritual rhythms, she builds sets that cut across borders and timelines. Her work moves between deeper listening and dancefloor: it is less about nostalgia, more about the reactivation of rarities and bringing together different musical worlds, showing how music can move beyond boundaries.
