The ongoing gag of King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard seems to be ‘let’s try…’, followed by whatever style or genre this juggernaut band is currently preoccupied with.

The results often go completely out of hand in the best possible way. On their 29th (!) record Alien Metal, for example, the hyperproductive Aussies present a supermutant take on techno, trance, bass, breakbeat and jungle, scrambling and shapeshifting these elements restlessly and abundantly.

What's KIng Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard's secret?
A boundless curiosity and enthusiasm to create and perform. But also, a community-first mindset on sharing their music. Being one of the greatest live acts on planet earth also helps.
