US artist Frankie Beanie's ground rules for his solo-project supermodel*: don't try and be cool, nick everything, keep it lowercase, don't overthink, always talk about fight club. 

It translates to fun, thrifty songs that channel MF Doom as much as LCD Soundsystem. Beanie’s frank, observational lyrics draw partly from his experiences as an American living in the UK, complete with Be Kind Rewind-esque homages to Jamiroquai and Fatboy Slim.
