Cutting her teeth within the Brooklyn warehouse rave scenes, Swordes makes - in her own words - human music for humans.

The result is a headstrong hardware-only approach to composing, producing and performing, juxtaposing cutesy hyper pop elements with gloomier, gnarlier 80s electronica influences. Bubblegum, rainbows, fire and gasoline: Swordes brings a club-friendly pop exorcism that pierces like the sharpest of blades.
