MEROL

Dutch pop's Most Entertaining Role Model

MEROL
  • Friday 12  →  23.45 - 0.45

As the pre-eminent risk taker within the Dutch mainstream, you can always count on MEROL fearlessly plunge into the deepest end.

The imagery of a shark – the creature she depicts on latest LP Naar De Haaien & Weer Terug – makes a lot of sense: MEROL can breach the surface with razor-sharp, risque EDM bangers, but also express the introspective struggle below with layered pop gems. Both on stage and on her records, fun, danger and vulnerability are MEROL's favorite bedfellows.
