Pure-hearted, cheeky garage bangers

A good riff, a good hook and pure attitude: Buenos Aires garage-duo Pacifica are the definition of no-frills cool.
Indeed, the winds definitely worked in Inés Adam and Martina Nintzel’s favour when a random internet commenter – and a mutual appreciation for The Strokes – brought them together to form a band. The duo’s combined brilliance forges earworms that illustrate the messier aspects of being young, in love with life and coping with all the treacherous growing pains that come with that. Pacifica are fun, frantic and utterly in-your-face.
