Shady Nasty

Fiery mix of hip-hop, post-punk and electronics

Add a Fred again.. to your list of fans, and things suddenly travel at warp-speed. This is exactly what happened to Australian act Shady Nasty.

Frankly, the enthusiasm is entirely justified, because Shady Nasty's sound is as immediately bewitching as its tricky to define. Their adventurous productions slither in that liminal space between post-punk and hip-hop, with lyrics candidly channeling the everyday grind. Shady Nasty is already a cross-cultural marvel to truly reckon with.
