One of his LPs might be called Struggler, the way Ghanaian/Australian artist Genesis Owusu mixes styles like post-punk, rap, pop, funk and electro feels downright effortless.

A Bloc Party riff here, a lo-fi beat there, a string section out of nowhere – Owusu's songs forge unity by means of the most inexplicable of spare parts. His singular creativity as a producer is matched by his subversive sharp-witted wordplay. Lawless, formless, thoughtless, flawless!
