Like Thalia and Melpomene, Irish alt-rockers Theatre embody a lot of contradictions.

Theatre is a name well-chosen when you consider how deftly this band weaves elements of folk, shoegaze and goth rock into their songs. The material on debut EP Incarnate speaks to the imagination in a similar way as a good film or book.

What's Theatre's secret?
A trait young bands often don't grasp: the music overrides the individuals making the music. Everyone in Theatre plays their part with patience and intent to bring their songs fully to life.
